Carpets of White Wildflowers
Lots in bloom.
The first cherry bloom (light pink) is almost done, but the second bloom (dark pink) is at peak.
Rosebuds, dogwood and apple also at peak.
Best show in years of carpets of small white wildflowers in many locations.
With the occasional wild violet mixed in.

Much More in Bloom
These photos were taken in the park in the morning, while it was still overcast and hazy. A big difference since last Wednesday when just one cherry tree was blooming. The tree that was blooming last week is still looking good and you can see that the other cherries around it are starting to show color. Dogwood? Forsythia The buds on the trees by the pool fence are just about ready to open, and a few trees in bloom around the pond. The weeping cherry by the waterfall is at its peak. Best to see it soon since its flowers don't last long.
